Seminar on improving the qualifications of press secretaries organised

A training seminar for press secretaries was organised jointly with the Khorezm provincial department of the Information and Mass Communications Agency under the Presidential Administration, the Khorezm provincial justice department and the Khorezm provincial department of the Centre for the Analysis of Democratic Processes.

The seminar discussed the aims and objectives of the Informatisation Act, its practical application, and the importance of information resources and systems. Masterclasses were also held on the role of press secretaries in building public confidence in State institutions and on the principles of prompt and impartial dissemination of information.

The training workshop was held in the form of an open dialogue, during which ideas were exchanged on how to improve the organisations' interaction with the public, enhance brand image and act effectively in crisis situations.

At the end of the workshop, the procedure of official response to issues raised in social media was analysed and appropriate recommendations were given to address the existing shortcomings.
